MCM's Biggest Project Completed With Detailed Precision
STEINBACH, Manitoba, Feb. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Featuring design by a joint venture of Pei Architects and Perkins & Will, Mid Canada Millwork has completed millwork for a replacement hospital in Westwood, the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, located on the UCLA campus in Los Angeles, California. Featuring over 70,000 square feet of wall paneling and custom millwork in every room, MCM utilized sophisticated machinery to ensure proper wood inlays for a polished look.
Working under general contractors Tutor-Saliba-Perini, the project required five years to complete. The building conveys the inspiration and promise of healing and scientific discovery, along with the openness, accessibility, and human scale inherent on the UCLA campus.
With custom architectural millwork, architectural casework, plastic laminate casework, custom solid surface as well as many other features priced over $12 million, only MCM could provide the consistency of quality needed to complete this project.
