MBA HealthGroup Launches a New Automation Tool for Electronic Health Records
Date:8/21/2013

South Burlington, Vermont (PRWEB) August 21, 2013

MBA HealthGroup announced today a partnership with FormMation LLC to be the exclusive vendor of an exciting new tool that automatically generates paper output populated with data from an EHR. Many employers, schools, government and large institutions require paper forms, very often, their own specific forms. MBA HealthGroup’s FormMation can be used to extract data from an EHR database and populate these paper forms without the need to modify the format of the forms.

Many healthcare providers have adopted Electronic Health Records and have moved on towards optimizing and improving workflows. “By the end of an implementation, providers are usually tired, frustrated, and petulant because they don’t see the EHR making their lives easier,” said Dr. David Ross Russell, a practicing physician and the original developer of the FormMation engine. "FormMation is the low hanging fruit for improving life for the practicing provider."

FormMation can extract any piece of data from an EHR to populate these paper forms including demographics, vitals, labs, problems, allergies, meds, flowsheet data, and fields from within visit notes.

“We are thrilled to be able to solve a problem we’ve seen a hundred times within our existing client base,” said Ethan Bechtel, CEO of MBA HealthGroup. “Improving physician satisfaction and clinical workflow are services we’ve typically provided consultatively, so for us to now be developing, implementing, and supporting a product that accomplishes these things is very exciting.”
