Lung Cancer Asbestos Victims Center Now Urges US Navy Veterans With Lung Cancer To Call Them If They Had Heavy Exposure To Asbestos On A US Navy Ship

The Lung Cancer Asbestos Victims Center is urging US Navy Veterans, or their family members to call them if the Veteran had significant exposure to asbestos while serving on a US Navy ship. According to the Veterans Administration there are currently about twenty one million US Navy Veterans in living in the United States. The Veterans Administration is very open about asbestos related illnesses, and US Navy Veterans, because so many Veterans were exposed to asbestos on a US Navy ship. If a US Navy Veteran is a victim of any type of lung cancer had long term exposure to asbestos in their workplace the Lung Cancer Asbestos Victims Center will direct the victim, or family members to a very capable law firm, that has an established record of achieving superior results for their clients. The group says, "For nonsmokers who have been exposed to asbestos in their workplace the risk of lung cancer is five times that of unexposed workers. The types of victims we hope to help are US Navy Veterans, who were exposed to asbestos on a US Navy ship, power plant workers, manufacturing workers, or any other type of worker who had significant exposure to asbestos in their workplace." The Lung Cancer Asbestos Victims Center says, "Aside from the US Navy, other high risk workplaces for asbestos exposure include shipyards, power plants, manufacturing factories, chemical plants, oil refineries, mines, smelters, aerospace manufacturing facilities, demolition construction work sites, railroads, automotive manufacturing facilities, or auto brake shops. With lung cancer caused by asbestos exposure the lung cancer may not show up until decades after the exposure. Many victims never smoked, and never connected their asbestos exposure to their lung cancer.
