Los Angeles Weight Loss Specialist Dr. Michael Feiz to Appear on “Mama June: From Not to Hot”
Date:2/23/2017

Los Angeles-based weight loss surgeon Michael Feiz, M.D., F.AC.S. will be appearing on the first two episodes of WE TV’s “Mama June: From Not to Hot,” which will begin airing on February 24, 2017. The show chronicles the weight loss journey of TV notable, “Mama” June Shannon, known to millions from the 2012 reality television series, “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.” The earlier series from TLC lasted for four seasons and became a frequently referenced pop culture phenomenon.

The new show will explore how Georgia-bred Mama June began her weight loss journey after moving back to her hometown to start a new life. Also featured, of course, will be her irrepressible daughter, former child beauty pageant contestant Alanna “Honey Boo Boo” Shannon.

As a noted physician who has provided successful weight loss procedures to numerous patients, Dr. Feiz will be seen on the show providing the kind of surgery that has helped countless women and men move on to happier and healthier lives by making weight loss more achievable. The results are likely to be dramatic. As Mama June has noted, “When I’m done, I’m not gonna recognize my own self in the mirror.”
