Lorus announces presentation of corporate overview at the Rodman and Renshaw Annual Healthcare Conference

TORONTO, Nov. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Lorus Therapeutics Inc. ('Lorus'), a biopharmaceutical company specializing in the research, development and commercialization of pharmaceutical products and technologies for the management of cancer, announced today that on Wednesday, November 7, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. EST (Eastern Standard Time), Dr. Aiping H. Young, President and CEO will present a corporate overview of the Company at the Acumen BioFin Rodman and Renshaw 9th Annual Healthcare Conference. The presentation will be web cast at http://www.wsw.com/webcast/rrshq12/lrp and will be available through the Lorus website from November 7, 2007.

The conference, which runs from November 5 to November 7, 2007, provides informational service and networking opportunities for healthcare companies and investors.
