Lornamead Grows With Addition of Two Branding Pros

STAMFORD, Conn., Oct. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Lornamead, Inc., a leading provider of personal care products, today announced the addition of two experienced branding professionals to its growing operation. Patti D'Agostino joins the company as Marketing Director, Hair Care; and Karen Murabito joins as Marketing Director, Skin Care. This brings to six the total number of Lornamead executive appointments over the past four months, reflecting the firm's growth.

"Both positions are key to our planned growth in these two important categories and the expansion of our company," said George P. Russell, Chief Executive Officer of Lornamead, Inc.

Patti D'Agostino

Building on her product and brand development experience as Director of Marketing for Liz Claiborne cosmetics, D'Agostino established her own marketing consulting enterprise. Over the past 10 years she has advised various personal care companies in diverse classes of trade including Symrise, Bobbi Brown cosmetics, Bath and Body Works, and JB Williams.

"Under Patti's guidance we expect our two current hair care brands, Finesse and Aqua Net, to expand their market share," Russell said. "She has a great record in nurturing winning brands," he added.

A graduate of Pace University, D'Agostino resides with her husband and two children in Pound Ridge, New York.

Karen Murabito

Murabito joins Lornamead with significant experience in marketing well- known consumer brands, including Clearasil, Herbal Essences, and Marlboro. Most recently, she was Vice President of Marketing for Maclaren, the premium baby gear company. Prior to that, she held positions in marketing and marketing research at Clairol, Boots Healthcare, Philip Morris USA and Yankelovich.

"If you issued a call for a person with the ideal credentials to manage our growing skin care portfolio, few could match Karen's experience," Russell said. "Already she has contributed significantly to the national launch of one of our successful European brands," he added.

Murabito resides in Larchmont, New York with her husband and daughter.
