Long Island IVF to Offer IVF Financial Share Program, Limiting Costs and Providing Refunds if IVF is Not Successful
Date:11/19/2009

MELVILLE, N.Y., Nov. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Long Island IVF, a full service medical practice offering fertility services and treatments to help patients achieve successful pregnancies, is now offering a new program to help couples limit the high costs of advanced fertility treatment. Through this program and a partnership with In Vitro Sciences, Long Island IVF's Financial Share Program will limit the amount of money couples pay for their comprehensive treatment plans and provide a guaranteed refund of 70% should the treatments fail.

The IVF Financial Share Program works by making it easier for patients to commit to a multi-cycle treatment package -- which increases the likelihood of success. According to Dr. Daniel Kenigsburg, Co-Director and board certified reproductive endocrinologist at Long Island IVF, "Our goal here is not only to help couples become pregnant, but also to remove any obstacles along the way -- and this program helps to do that."

Participants in the program may attempt up to 3 IVF cycles and 3 frozen embryo transfer cycles for an upfront, fixed, and discounted fee.* If a birth occurs after any of the 6 attempts, the full fee is retained. If treatment is not successful, 70% of the fee will be refunded, leaving couples with resources for other family building options.

To qualify for this program, patients must be self-pay patients and be considered appropriate candidates for IVF, as determined by Long Island IVF and In Vitro Sciences (administrator of this program). Candidates will undergo a detailed review of their infertility and medical history.

The cost of this program varies depending on the woman's age and the treatment type. Other variables within this program, including those costs not included in the program, should be discussed with the Financial Counselor at Long Island IVF.

Long Island IVF also offers convenient, low interest rate financing for the IVF Financial
