Long Island Children's Orthodontist Announces Office Improvements And New Staff Member
Date:3/26/2010

Top New York orthodontist, Dr. Inna Gellerman, completes office renovations and introduces new records technician.

Huntington, N.Y. (PRWEB) March 26, 2010 -- Top Long Island children's orthodontist, Dr. Inna Gellerman, announces the completion of recent office renovations and the addition of a new records technician, Erin Whelan, to her office staff. New office amenities include TVs, video game systems and a coffee bar, and will allow patients to feel relaxed while waiting for their appointment.

"We want our patients to feel at home when they come in for an appointment, rather than feel like they're at the orthodontist's office. I have a lot of young patients who get bored in the waiting room, and with TVs and video games, they can keep their mind off their appointment and just have fun. The coffee bar for my adult patients allows them to sit back and relax, making a more enjoyable overall experience for everyone," says Dr. Gellerman.

Among the new additions to the waiting room are 46-inch TVs, two X-box systems, two PlayStations and one Wii.

Dr. Gellerman, a Long Island orthodontist, also hired a new records technician, Erin Whelan, who will be taking records, pictures and X-rays of patients. Whelan will also be office’s Kids' Club coordinator, working with children as young as 7 years old to monitor the growth and development of their teeth. Kids' Club activities include winning prizes by spinning a wheel in the office, keeping kids happy and healthy.

"Seven years old is actually the best age to start seeing an orthodontist. When kids come to me early, we can keep an eye on the growth and development of their teeth, jaw and mouth structure. By monitoring their mouths at an early age, we can fix problems before they become serious. And the Kids' Club is a great, fun way to get our young patients excited about coming to the orthodontist. Erin is wonderful with children, and I have all the confidence that she will excel in this new position," says Gellerman.

About Dr. Gellerman: Dr. Inna Gellerman and her office staff have a mission to create spectacular smiles for each and every one of their patients. They provide patients with the highest standards of orthodontic care in a warm and comforting environment. In caring for their patients, they are committed to following and exceeding all accepted guidelines for infection control to assure the safety of patients and staff.
