Local Dentist Teaches Other Dentists How to Save the Lives of Their Patients

Dentistry is evolving beyond the treatment of cavities and the glamour of smile makeovers. In fact, it is looking at these more traditional practices in a whole new light. While the preservation and beauty of teeth is what the public expects form dentistry, we know that dentists are now, more than ever, an important part of the medical team. The increasingly important link between oral and systemic health is being strengthened every day by new and ongoing research.

(PRWEB) November 25, 2009 -- Dr Lisa Marie Samaha was a featured speaker at a ground-breaking dental symposium on the latest concepts in the Mouth-Body Connection. The Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics hosted an international symposium in Scottsdale, Arizona, on leading- edge periodontal therapies that allow dentists to save the lives of their patients.
