Local Businesses Team with Success 4 Kids & Families to Provide Holiday Gifts and Meals for Needy Families
Date:12/14/2009

TAMPA BAY, Fla., Dec. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- While many Tampa Bay area families are struggling this Christmas to put food on the table and give their children a decent gift, three local businesses have joined together to ensure the holidays for families in need will be bright.

Success 4 Kids and Families and Healthy Start are teaming up with several outstanding Bay Area companies to give 150 families a Christmas dinner and a substantial gift for the kids.

"Even though the average gift amount is enough to get the kids a cool toy or electronics, most of the kids have asked for something really practical this year, like 'a pair of shoes without holes in em,' which is very touching," said Clara Reynolds, Executive Director of S4KF.

ConnectWise, Sage, and Tribridge provided donations through their employees and corporate funding. The companies will donate a substantial gift to 150 needy kids in Hillsborough County. Families will also receive a full Christmas dinner to prepare in their homes.

S4KF is a non-profit organization providing free in-home educational and social services for families within Hillsborough County. The Healthy Start program supports expectant moms and newborns at risk in the Bay Area.
