Little Engine Homecare, Inc. Is Proud to Announce Its Second Nomination as a San Antonio Express-News Top Workplace for the Year 2013
Date:10/30/2013

San Antonio, Texas (PRWEB) October 30, 2013

The 2013 winners were announced at an awards luncheon held at The Grand Hyatt on October 22, 2013. The San Antonio Express-News also published a special section of the winners in the October 27, 2013 Sunday Edition Newspaper. The listing can also be found on the website http://www.topworkplaces.com.

Being named one of San Antonio’s Top Workplaces back-to-back was based purely on the results of a confidential employee survey. The survey covered assessments such as: company’s values; leaders and future; company communication and education; working atmosphere and environment; opportunity for training and progression; quality of the managers and their skills; and employee compensation.

G. Andrew Pratt, Jr., (Andy) is the founder and president of Little Engine Homecare, Inc. He worked as a PT in an outpatient orthopedic setting for 28 years before deciding to focus his attention on serving children with developmental delays and special needs. Andy opened Little Engine Homecare, Inc. in 2006 and admitted the first child into therapy on September 9, 2007. “Receiving this nomination for the second year in a row is a true testament to the long-term goals I have envisioned for our company, and to the incredible staff that is making this vision a reality,” said Andy from his desk in the company’s main office located in San Antonio Texas. “Each year we get to celebrate children reaching milestones and graduating from our therapy program, and it is truly because of the dedication, focus, and genuine care given by our staff, starting with senior management, to administrative staff, to our clinical staff. I truly am blessed to have seen my vision become what it is today, and it could not be done without the collaboration of all these talented and dedicated individuals. As we set sight on our future and new things to come, I am excited to know that I have such passionate individuals by my side to embark on our journey as we continue in our mission of Making a BIG Difference in LITTLE Lives™.”
