Nominations Now Being Accepted for Program that Recognizes and Honors Individuals for Their Contribution
Stratham, N.H., Feb. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- On February 24th 2009, Lindt & Sprungli, the world's leading producer of premium chocolate, announced a partnership with Autism Speaks. To further support this partnership, today, Lindt and Cookie Magazine announced a program to honor two "Lindt Unsung Heroes of Autism," ordinary individuals who are extraordinary champions for the cause in their family, home or community.
Between February 26th and March 11th 2009, individuals can visit www.LindtUnsungHeroes.com to nominate themselves or someone they know for the opportunity to be one of two "Lindt Unsung Heroes of Autism". In April, Autism Awareness Month, the two individuals will be honored with recognition at, and paid travel to, the "Lindt Unsung Heroes of Autism" event at the New York Palace Hotel. Additionally, they will receive a personal highlight in the June issue of Cookie Magazine and $5,000 towards their efforts and initiatives to support the cause.
