Lilly Offers Free Health Guide, Available throughout State

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Eli Lilly and Company recently unveiled a free pocket-sized health book, A Healthy You! -- America's Guide to Healthy Living, with useful tips and resources to help Americans lead a healthy life and prevent chronic diseases such as heart disease, cancer and diabetes. Organizations throughout the state of Ohio are distributing the book to educate Ohioans with the tools they need to lead a healthy life.

"A Healthy You! -- America's Guide to Healthy Living is a wonderful, free tool to share with others," said Ohio State Senator Kevin Coughlin. "Education and awareness is key to help Americans lead a healthy life, and we encourage other organizations to share this free health resource book."

A Healthy You! -- America's Guide to Healthy Living is aimed at addressing the effects of poor health in our country. The book is available in English and Spanish and includes an extensive listing of specific resources in each state where people can access useful programs and agencies in their area. Lilly teamed up with the National Council of La Raza, the largest national Latino civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States, to develop the Spanish version, Buena Salud, Buena Vida -- Su Guia de Recursos de Salud. The book is also available online at www.lillyforbetterhealth.com
