Like a Celebrity Concierge + Writings of the Goddess PR Bring Entrepreneurs to the Pink Carpet During Breast Cancer Awareness Month for #ShopForACure
Date:11/6/2013

New York, NY (PRWEB) November 06, 2013

To help raise funds and awareness for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, Latisha Kenya Murray of Like a Celebrity, LLC and Qiana L. Williams of Writings of the Goddess, rallied together for the cause with generous support from socially conscious entrepreneurs and emerging lifestyle brands.

#ShopforaCure offered an eclectic group of small businesses a unique opportunity to market, promote, and sell their goods and services while supporting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, a charity committed to finding a cure for breast cancer and raising awareness about good breast health.

The charitable shopping soiree attracted between 100-150 friends, supporters, and donors on the pink carpet at Copia on 10/30/2013. Donations will continue past October and run throughout the year in support of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Donations can be made here.

Kenya Murray said, "Breast cancer affects too many of us, whether we are a survivor, friend or family member of one. I'm happy to support breast cancer awareness and wrap up the month with a soiree like this!"
