Lifeway Foods Announces New East Coast and Expanded Midwest Distribution

MORTON GROVE, Ill., Dec. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Lifeway Foods, Inc., (Nasdaq: LWAY), makers of a nutritious, probiotic dairy beverage called kefir, announced today new distribution of its 12 pack "club pack" to the Northeast Costco region that operates about 70 stores. This is in addition to the expansion of the Costco Midwest region from 20 stores to 49 stores. The shipments will begin in the third week of December 2008 and consumers can expect to find the product in stores after the new year.
