Lifespring Health Sponsors the Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Half Marathon and 5K Fun Run
Date:2/1/2008

PALO ALTO, Calif., Feb. 1 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Lifespring Health sponsors the Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Half Marathon & 5K Fun Run. This is an important charity event benefiting the Hemophilia Foundation of Northern California, Support for Families of Children with Disabilities and the Koret Family House.

Set to take place on Feb. 3, this RRCA Western Region Half Marathon Championship certified 13.1 mile course is ranked as one of the most scenic in the country by Runner's World. It starts at 8 a.m. on John F. Kennedy Drive at Stow Lake Drive and finishes on Martin Luther King Drive near the Great Highway.

Plus, there will be an awards ceremony and age-division medals, goody bag pick-up, sponsor product sampling, FREE body mass index (BMI) screenings, FREE flexibility screenings, as well as Kaiser Permanente health and fitness tents.

Lifespring Health is committed to helping individuals reduce the burden of spiraling health care and fitness expenses. Mark Pearson, CEO & founder, was inspired to start Lifespring Health based on media reports of 47 million uninsured individuals. He developed an innovative solution that works like a frequent flyer program except members are awarded cash back to use towards any health or fitness expense instead of air travel. Participants in Lifespring Heath's free Cash Back Rewards Program earn cash back by using the Lifespring Health Everyday Rewards Visa, through online rebate shopping, or by inviting friends and family to join their Rewards Community. Lifespring Health will be sponsoring a booth at the Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Half Marathon & 5K fun run in order to promote health and fitness.
