The Conference will be held at the San Diego Convention Center, San Diego California, June 3 - 5, 2009. Lifeclinic will be located at the OptumHealth booth #407. OptumHealth is a Presidential Sponsor at this year's conference.
AHIP is a national trade association representing nearly 1,300 member companies providing health benefits to more than 200 million Americans. "We're looking forward to participating in AHIP's Conference and being featured in OptumHealth's exhibit. The AHIP membership base is the targeted sector in which Lifeclinic's technology and product line can make a significant impact," said Lifeclinic's Chief Marketing Officer, Steve Halperin. Halperin added, "People use our blood pressure monitors in their neighborhood pharmacies over a 1,000,000 times a day. However, we also provide best in class programs and products for wellness initiatives in the corporate workplace where more than 5,000 of our monitors and health stations are located. OptumHealth is a world leader in the delivery of successful programs and processes that impact behavior and deliver demonstrated value for the employer market. Their integrated care and behavioral solutions can be delivered as stand-alone services or as cross-functionally integrated programs. We're pleased that our health stations can be a part of the OptumHealth solution."
Featured at the OptumHealth booth will be the LC500 -- a corporate wellness program-friendly health station that offers automated blood pressure, weight, body fat, BMI and blood oxygen tests, along with glucose meter upload capability. Additional peripheral input ports include IR (infrared) and USB for interfacing with various personal health devices including pedometers. Employees can easily navigate through the LC500's interface of test options and health information via a 10.4" color LCD touch screen.
The LC500 is Internet-ready for secure, HIPAA-compliant, open source integration into most network environments and can easily interface with existing wellness applications so that all data gathered by it can be saved. The LC500, along with Lifeclinic's Web- based GroupStat management system, can collect, track and manage real-time biometric data, for individuals or in the aggregate, to improve the overall outcome of corporate health programs. Employees can also manage their own data from any Web browser via Lifeclinic.com or the employer's own Web site or health portal.
