LifeSpan Treadmill Awarded BEST TREADMILL by Health Magazine
Date:7/21/2009

SALT LAKE CITY, July 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Health Magazine awarded the LifeSpan TR4000i treadmill Best Treadmill for its innovative features, most notably its ability to save exercise data and transfer results to a personal online health and fitness management account to track progress. The LifeSpan TR4000i treadmill, made by PCE Health and Fitness, www.LifeSpanFitness.com, was rated #1 over all other treadmills, as judged by experts from Health magazine. The Best Treadmill award is part of Health magazine's annual America's Healthiest Fitness Awards.

The July issue of Health praised the TR4000i's interactive USB that automatically transfers information to your computer to track progress. The TR4000i treadmill includes a membership in the LifeSpan Fitness Club, an exclusive online health and fitness management solution that tracks physical activity and vital stats uploaded from a USB device, and also allows entering other physical activity and vital stats. Users access their accounts from the internet, which is like having a virtual personal trainer at all times. In addition to tracking exercise results and vital stats, users can use the LifeSpan Fitness Club to set goals, create a customized exercise plan, and compare progress to their goals.

LifeSpan is a leader in using technology to integrate fitness equipment with health management. "We believe technology will drive significant change in how Americans maintain their health and fitness," says Peter Schenk, President of PCE Health and Fitness. "We are dedicated to being a leader in this behavioral shift driving the integration of fitness equipment with the internet and developing features that make our equipment more effective, engaging and entertaining."
