Life Spine Announces Acquisition of Intellectual Property

- Spinal Generations agrees to sell patents to Life Spine

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill., Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Rapidly growing spinal implant firm Life Spine, Inc. announced today that it has acquired the majority of the intellectual property of Spinal Generations, LLC. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

According to Michael S. Butler, Life Spine's president and CEO, intellectual property expansion is critical. "The core of the spine market place is intellectual property. To this end, we have been aggressively pursuing the expansion of our intellectual property portfolio both organically and through acquisition.
