Life Science Nutritionals Named #12 in PROFIT 500 list of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies Proving What’s Good for Canadians is Good for Business
Date:6/6/2013

Burlington, Ontario (PRWEB) June 06, 2013

Life Science Nutritionals (LSN), the makers of IronKids and Adult Essentials gummy vitamins, ranked #12 in the annual PROFIT 500 ranking of Canada’s Fastest-Growing Companies and #1 in the Pharmaceutical & Nutraceutical Manufacturing and Distribution category. Published in the summer issue of PROFIT Magazine and online at PROFITguide.com, the PROFIT 500 ranks Canadian businesses by their revenue growth over five years.

"To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Fastest-Growing Companies in Canada, the PROFIT 500 has expanded to recognize the entrepreneurial achievements of more than 500 Canadian companies," says Ian Portsmouth, Editor-in-Chief of PROFIT Magazine. "PROFIT is proud to now showcase Canada's forward-thinking small business entrepreneurs and honour their talents and innovations."

This is the third consecutive year Life Science Nutritionals has made the list, ranking #16 in 2011 and #10 in 2012 proving that what’s good for Canadians is good for business. This year saw LSN continue their growth trend, launching new products for both the IronKids and Adult Essential lines.

Earlier this year, LSN launched their all-new Fibre gummies for both IronKids and Adult Essentials. Following the successful reformulation of their Omega 3 supplements, LSN released a new and improved version of their popular Adult Essentials Multi-vitamins as well as two new multi-vitamin formulas, each one specifically designed for the individual needs of women and men.

“I am extremely pleased that we are once again in the top 20 of the PROFIT list for the third year in a row. This is our second year in the top 15,” says LSN Founder and CEO Stuart Lowther, who is profiled in the summer issue of PROFIT. “I am most proud of our staff and management team that have all played an intricate part in our success. Without their hard work and dedication, none of this would be possible.”

“We are also very proud of how our IronKids brand has continued to grow. The new IronKids 2x DHA won the prestigious Best New Product Award. This is our second time winning this award and a testament to our mission of delivering high quality, nutritious products that help enhance our customers’ health.”

The future is also very bright and exciting. LSN is in the middle of expansion plans that will increase their capacity by as much as six times over the next 24 months. Besides the benefit of job creation, it will allow LSN to keep up with demand, further expand their distribution and launch new innovative products.
