CINCINNATI, July 20 /PRNewswire/ -- The Southern Ohio Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society announced recently that Eisen Marketing Group and owner Rodger Roeser will partner with them to help garner awareness of patient services and support available locally, as well as fundraising events held year-round throughout the tri-state.

As a nonprofit, LLS relies solely on the generosity of individuals, corporations and foundations to fund our mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Seventy-five percent of our total expenses support cancer research, education, advocacy and patient services. Major, annual fundraising campaigns in Southern Ohio and Northern Kentucky include Team In Training((R)), Light The Night((R)) Walk, School & Youth(SM) programs, Man & Woman of the Year, the Furniture Fair Celebrity Golf Event and Dinner and the Taste of the World Wine and Beer Festival.

Tom Carleton, Special Events Director for the Southern Ohio Chapter explains how the relationship will help LLS, "because we do not operate with an endowment fund, funds that are raised by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society are immediately allocated to support the research physicians and patient services programs that are critical to our patients and their families. Roughly 2/3 of all mission funding directly impacts research and patient services. With that, we rely on grass roots marketing activities and we welcome partners that are willing to assist us in reaching the masses as efficiently as possible.
