Leonard Lucarelli’s New Children’s Book Urges Good Hygiene

REDMOND, Wash. (PRWEB) May 06, 2013

In his new illustrated children’s book “Billy and the Angry Germs” (published by Trafford Publishing) author Leonard Lucarelli tackles a perennial hot topic with kids and parents: washing one’s hands.

Billy and the Angry Germs” is about understanding how important the washing of hands is to reduce the likelihood of getting ill. It is written and illustrated from the perspective of a young boy and from the viewpoint of the germs who are trying to get him sick. Lucarelli hopes this book will entertain kids and parents, bringing to the forefront the health benefits of washing one’s hands.

Keeping kids healthy is something every parent, grandparent, educator, daycare worker and childcare professional is very concerned about, and children will love reading about this problem from the germs’ point of view.

“I truly believe in the message this book conveys to make a big difference in keeping children healthier,” Lucarelli says. “Sometimes, it is the little things in life, the things we all used to do, that end up being the game changer. Washing our hands before meals and before touching our face can be that game changer in improving our daily resistance to infection.”
