Legal Employer Provides Companies with Competitive Edge by Assuring Consumers that Workers are Legally Documented
Date:2/7/2008

Essential Service Developed in Response to Key 2008 Presidential Campaign

Issue

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Feb. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- A new service has launched to assist U.S. companies, large and small, in promoting the fact that they hire and employ only legally documented workers. Legal Employer is offering companies use of its seal programs to market, both online and offline, the fact that they exclusively employ legal workers.

Companies will be able to proudly display a seal on their website and/or at their physical locations through window decals and plaques. They will also have the ability to market to consumers and potential clients with unique marketing collateral. In addition companies will benefit from using Legal Employer's confidential, secure and easy to navigate database to maintain, track and instantly recall all of the documents they are currently required to maintain for each employee by Federal law.

Legal Employer offers companies the opportunity to purchase four levels of seals; Owner Verified, Owner Verified Plus, Owner Documented and Legal Employer Verified. The Owner Verified and Owner Verified Plus seals offer assurance from the employer that all of their employees are legally documented. In order for a business to have the Owner Documented seal, they need to provide Legal Employer with a confidential copy of each employee's employment eligibility documents. The fourth seal, Legal Employer Verified, requires that a Legal Employer representative personally verifies, using approved government resources from the Department of Homeland Security, that each employee submitted by the business owner is properly documented and legally eligible to work in the U.S.

"In this election season we have seen the overwhelming response across the nation from taxpayers concerning the immigration issue. More and more consumers are seeking to do business with companies that comply with Federal employment
