LeafGuard by Beldon Raises Donations for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and The One Fund Boston
Date:7/30/2013

San Antonio, TX (PRWEB) July 30, 2013

For the premier clog-free gutter installation company LeafGuard by Beldon, giving back to the community is part of what makes their company so special. They have been family owned since 1946, and employ over 500 people nationwide. “Being a family owned company for so long, and having the national footprint that we have, we have really become a part of the communities that we service,” said V.P. of Marketing, Ryan Shutt.

Charity That Hits Close to Home

Being able to donate to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is especially meaningful to the LeafGuard by Beldon Family. Daniel, son of a long time LeafGuard employee was named the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Man of the Year. The 16 year old cancer survivor recently made history by raising the most money ever in a Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Man or Woman of the year campaign, $467,000. “We are all so proud of Daniel,” said Shutt, “he truly has inspired so many to give, not only in our community, but nationwide.”

The theme of family and community is evident in the Boston LeafGuard by Beldon offices as well. The tragic bombings of the Boston Marathon, one of the world’s premier athletic events on April 15, rallied the city, and LeafGuard joined the cause. With $6,500 raised so far, LeafGuard by Beldon has been able to help support the families of those affected by the terrible events.

“We would like to extend a special thanks to our locations in Atlanta, Boston, Cleveland, Houston, Kansas City, Maryland, Chicago, Colorado, Dallas, Portland, San Antonio, and Seattle. We would not be able to do this without the hard work of these offices, and the compassion of their customers,” says Ryan.

LeafGuard by Beldon’s home offices are located in San Antonio, TX. You can reach them online at http://www.leafguardgutters.com, or by calling 1-888-4-CLOGFREE.
