Leading Online Addiction Treatment Provider, Lionrock Recovery, Announces Its Real Time RecoveryTM Treatment Modality and Supporting mHealth Technology

(PRWEB) December 04, 2013

Leading online addiction treatment program, Lionrock Recovery, provides addiction treatment by secure online video conference and mobile Internet application to break down barriers that often stop people struggling with drugs and alcohol from getting the help they need. Lionrock's app gathers the phone’s GPS location, a photo image, text journal entries, and a timestamp, and then records them in Lionrock's online systems.

“Outpatient treatment is no longer just a few hours each week,” said Lionrock CEO Peter Loeb. “Using Lionrock’s proprietary mobile technology, Real Time Recovery means that counselors and clients can now embed treatment plan goals into a structured schedule that goes with clients into their daily lives. Sometimes the therapeutic goal is to be somewhere at a certain time, or do something specific. Other times, the goal is to create a time/place record of emotions or cravings that may be impacting a client’s recovery. The check-ins build a graphical record that both clients and counselors can view online, in real time or at scheduled intervals.

“Whether monitoring client activity as it happens, or reviewing a client’s check-ins for individual sessions, counselors get rich feedback on how treatment is progressing. Clients see a clear record of their progressive achievements, a mosaic of success, that builds c
