Date:8/1/2013

Cleveland, Ohio (PRWEB) August 01, 2013

Leading Lady, a premiere nursing bra and intimate apparel company, today announced plans to donate one thousand Leading Lady and new Loving Moments by Leading Lady nursing bras to breastfeeding moms nationwide in honor of World Breastfeeding Week and National Breastfeeding Month. Through partnerships with Breastfeeding USA, Best for Babes® and WIC, Leading Lady continues to support moms who choose to breastfeed their babies by providing nursing bras and breastfeeding resources for expecting and new parents.

“Leading Lady and Loving Moments by Leading Lady champion breastfeeding year-round through our products, programs and philanthropic efforts, but we’re especially excited that this important cause is receiving additional attention during World Breastfeeding Week and National Breastfeeding Month” said Mark Corrado, third generation President of Leading Lady. “The 2013 theme of World Breastfeeding Week, ‘Breastfeeding Support: Close to Mothers,’ mirrors Leading Lady’s allegiance to make information, resources and breastfeeding necessities accessible to all women who choose to nurture their babies through breastfeeding.”

Leading Lady is the presenting sponsor in The Best for Babes® Foundation and Breastfeeding USA’s “Team We’ve Got Your Back, Babe,” a unique fitness challenge created to raise funds and awareness for breastfeeding. The goal of the joint initiative is to remove common barriers to breastfeeding while working to ensure that every mother gets the support she needs to make informed decisions about feeding her baby. Leading Lady will donate hundreds of Loving Moments by Leading Lady nursing bras to 26 Breastfeeding USA chapters across the count
