Sentillion proVision(TM) Now Manages Over 150,000 Identities

ANDOVER, Mass., June 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Sentillion announced today that over the past six months, seven healthcare organizations have selected Sentillion's proVision solution to create centralized and automated provisioning processes that eliminate the challenges of manual user account management, including:

-- Ardent Health Services (Nashville, TN)

-- Baptist Health System (Birmingham, AL)

-- Hawaii Pacific Health (Honolulu, HI)

-- IASIS Healthcare (Franklin, TN)

-- Presbyterian Healthcare Services (Albuquerque, NM)

-- University of North Carolina Health System (Chapel Hill, NC)

Sentillion's proVision solution is now used to manage over 150,000 user identities at leading healthcare organizations across North America. Customers already in production with proVision include BryanLGH, Cottage Health System, Park Nicollet Health Services, Sharp HealthCare, Sisters of Mercy Health System, Texas Children's Hospital and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. The seven new customers will use proVision to manage over 50,000 additional identities.

proVision's momentum is driven in part by security, caregiver productivity and compliance challenges related to the traditional burdensome and error-prone manual processes of creating and managing user accounts for clinical, business and personal productivity applications. Healthcare applications present special challenges when it comes to automating the provisioning process. Specifically, a majority of healthcare applications do not expose the APIs required by most provisioning systems in order to create accounts. Given that Sentillion's provisioning solution is optimized specifically for the healthcare industry, proVision is the only solution in the industry to provide automated fine-grained provisioning to healthcare applications that require extensive data beyond username and password in
