86% of people who've had a migraine in the past 12 months experienced a migraine attack whilst on holiday. Of those, one in five (21%) say they 'usually' or 'always' suffer from a migraine whilst away(1). Humid weather, changes in sleep patterns and alcohol are all common migraine triggers and with 15% of the UK adult population affected, it seems it's not just the credit crunch putting a dampener on our holidays this year.
