Language Service Leader Expands to Meet Booming, Global Industry Demand.
Date:2/16/2010

American Language Services, a premier leader of the Translation, Transcription and Interpretation industries just completed its initial phase of expansion last month. They expanded their Los Angeles headquarters hub, preparing for the booming industry growth expected in the coming year. The quarter century-old company tripled the size of its headquarters, with more expansion plans for the future.

(PRWEB) February 16, 2010 -- The expansion efforts have been predicated by the ever-increasing market for Interpretation and Translation due to the current trend in global market expansion. The globalization effort is due largely to the fact that corporate America has, out of necessity, increased its willingness to participate in the global market. With the end of national market decline nowhere in sight, companies are broadening their horizons and the scope of their clientele to compete globally for a total market share with outsourcing, relocation, and strategic, overseas partnering. With an increase in each facet of globalization, comes a marked increase in the need for interpretation and translation.

The private sector’s new globally-minded business savvy, coupled with the current presidential administration’s willingness and desire to develop relations abroad, has initiated a boom in the Interpretation/Translation industry in an otherwise stagnant economy. According to GALA, the Globalization and Localization Association, the industry whose growth rate is now a steady 7.5 percent per year has risen from US$9 billion in 2006, to the US$12 billion prediction for the coming year.

American Language Services or ALS, who already serves a wide variety and majority of private sector companies and governmental agencies, has expanded operations
