Mobile app development the next big thing

(PRWEB) April 21, 2010 -- Kansas based digital marketing firm, LangfordMedia (LangfordMedia.com) now provides mobile application development. The firm's mobile applications provide geo location, push notification, videos, photos, and other media, and a full featured, easy to use, content management system that allows clients to update their app at any time and with any information they want to provide to their customers.

"We began development on mobile applications at the end of 2009," said Jacinta Langford, CEO of LangfordMedia. "We think our timing couldn't be any better with a recent Admob report stating smartphone traffic share increased nearly 200 percent over the same period last year. What web development was in the late 90s, mobile development is now."

LangfordMedia recently released an application for Lawrence, KS. The app is a guide to restaurants, shopping, and nightlife in Lawrence and can be downloaded on the iPhone app store.
