Landmark San Diego Dermatology Practice Receives Renewal of Institute for Medical Quality Certification
Date:9/23/2013

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) September 23, 2013

Goldman, Butterwick, Fitzpatrick, Groff & Fabi: Cosmetic Laser Dermatology recently received an updated renewal accreditation by the Institute for Medical Quality that assures their San Diego dermatology patients are receiving the highest level of care. The Institute for Medical Quality certification is a complicated, lengthy process that serves to ensure all accredited surgery centers and operating rooms are providing high quality, safe surgical care. Before receiving this renewal, Cosmetic Laser Dermatology held their past certification for the longest period of time possible.

“Holding this prestigious IMQ accreditation means that our surgery center will always keep up with the high standards of the IMQ. In order to do that, I personally review our operating room regularly, and every physician that performs a procedure here has met all of the proper licensing requirements,” explained Cosmetic Laser Dermatology’s founder and OR Director, Mitchel Goldman, MD.

Cosmetic Laser Dermatology’s surgery center, the Cosmetic & Vein Surgical Center of La Jolla, meets the high standards of the IMQ, allowing the board-certified dermatologists at the practice to offer certain cosmetic dermatologic surgeries not available at every dermatologist’s office.

“Some of our dermatologic and cosmetic procedures require an anesthesiologist, a registered nurse, and the use of controlled narcotics. With the IMQ certification, our patients can rest assured that the doctors and our operating room meet the highest standards for safe, effective care,” said Dr. Goldman, President of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.

Goldman, Butterwick, Fitzpatrick, Groff & Fabi: Cosmetic Laser Dermatology is comprised of five world-renowned dermatologists in San Diego who are all actively involved in medical research and clinical trials. Their active involvement in the dermatologic and cosmetic surgery community ensures their San Diego patients are receiving the most cutting-edge treatments available by some of the most experienced dermatologists in the field.

“We all strive to make sure our patients are receiving the best care possible at Cosmetic Laser Dermatology. From a warm, welcoming environment to our bedside manner to the innovative treatments we provide, Cosmetic Laser Dermatology has it all,” said Dr. Mitchel Goldman.
