LOS ANGELES, April 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Lamas Beauty International is proud to announce that its natural hair care collections are now available in Macy's Beautiful Planet shop, which features the best in natural and organic personal care products. The shop will feature the Peter Lamas Naturals collection, which includes shampoos, conditioners, and styling aids to help volumize, strengthen, protect, and enhance shine, and the Peter Lamas Chinese Herbs collection, a five-step system that helps treat baldness and thinning hair by utilizing herbal remedies from the Far East to promote growth and prevent future loss.

"With the ever-growing popularity of the green movement and the increasing demand for natural and organic beauty products, the Beautiful Planet concept shop is as timely as it is innovative," said Peter Lamas, founder of Lamas Beauty International. "With this initiative, Macy's is recognizing the true leaders of the natural products industry, and we're so honored that Lamas Beauty is one of the chosen few."

In recent years, many chemical ingredients that are commonly found in conventional personal care products have been revealed to be potentially harmful to our health and to the environment. As a result, the demand for products made with natural and organic ingredients has grown at an astounding rate. According to a study conducted by market research firm Mintel, the number of natural and organic cosmetic products introduced in 2008 increased 23% from the previous year.
