The campaign and website strategy was led by addiction treatment business development and marketing veteran Gina Thorne, VP of Marketing, who wanted to introduce a balance of messaging, information, and functionality unique to the category. Distinct audiences were considered for the online channel with areas dedicated to patient prospects, professional referral sources, and alumni. The language and services of these sections were considered paramount to the success of the initiative.
“When an individual seeks treatment for addiction, he or she requires a distinctively different experience than you would find if you were selling consumer goods or even other healthcare services,” explained Thorne. “It is a medical-based program, but intensely personal.
