LaStone Launches Merger with TIR Massage Stone To Further The Advancement of Massage Therapy Education in 2012

Mesa, AZ (PRWEB) July 02, 2012

Mary Nelson, founder of LaStone Therapy, had been struggling for months with the decision. Since 1993, over 25,000 massage therapists have been trained in the LaStone Therapy methodology. LaStone is her life; it is what she’s put her whole heart and sole into for the last 19 years. A drastic change is in order for the continued longevity and growth of LaStone Therapy.

With this motivation, Mary Nelson approached Chris Turley of TIR Massage Stone to negotiate a merger of the LaStone methodology and brand into his company. The merger is now complete and TIR Massage Stone is proud to announce the advancement of LaStone into its rightful place of prominence once again in the massage industry. This methodology is the premier stone massage education methodology. TIR Massage Stone has the infrastructure to support the necessary means to advance LaStone educational program and reach the masses of therapists around the world, giving in depth training for not only hot stone massage but cold stone massage as well.

Mary Nelson continues to work side by side the TIR Massage Stone staff; giving support and guidance as all operations and marketing efforts for the LaStone brand of educational classes are brought within their responsibility. She will continue to be very active in co-creating ways to ensure students find their way to a LaStone workshop, using the talents and abilities of TIR Massage Stone to put her ideas into motion.

Since the merging of LaStone, the TIR Massage Stone team has already taken strides to expand their understanding of the needs of both the instructors and students, with there being more than 50 LaStone Instructors worldwide. TIR Massage Stone is committed to the growth and wellbeing of LaStone, her instructors, students, clients and Mary as the founder of LaStone. The team at TIR Massage Stone is putting plans into motion to gain widespread use and desire of the LaStone methodology throughout the massage industry. Working as a team, it is their goal to ensure a smooth transition and fidelity to the LaStone way.

LaStone Therapy is a multifaceted stone massage technique designed through nearly 2 decades of experience to be highly beneficial to both the client and therapist. Expanding a therapist’s knowledge far beyond simply doing just hot stone massage, LaStone Therapy focuses on the use of stone of varying temperature being integrated into nearly every modality of massage therapy available.
