ABOUT THE OVARIAN CANCER RESEARCH FUND

The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund is the leading independent, non-profit organization in the United States dedicated to advancing research, raising awareness and finding a cure. Ovarian cancer takes the lives of over 15,000 women in the United States each year, with over 22,000 new cases being diagnosed annually. There is currently no method of early detection, leading to late diagnosis in 75 percent of all cases. OCRF is committed to funding the best and the brightest of scientific investigators whose work focuses on new tools for detection, prevention, and better treatment options. To date, the OCRF has funded 112 researchers at 41 leading cancer institutes nationwide.
