Date:12/8/2009

CINCINNATI and JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Dec. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- LCA-Vision Inc. (Nasdaq: LCAV), a leading provider of laser vision correction services under the LasikPlus® brand, announced today that it has joined forces with the Wounded Warrior Project to provide free LasikPlus® corrective vision surgery to U.S. military veterans and their spouses/caregivers across the nation. LCA-Vision supports the Wounded Warrior Project, and is doing its part to enhance the lives of America's heroes.

David L. Thomas, COO of LCA-Vision and West Point graduate, states, "With two major military operations in play, more and more U.S. servicemen and women are coming home with life changing injuries.
