Date:12/8/2009

CINCINNATI and JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Dec. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- LCA-Vision Inc. (Nasdaq: LCAV), a leading provider of laser vision correction services under the LasikPlus® brand, announced today that it has joined forces with the Wounded Warrior Project to provide free LasikPlus® corrective vision surgery to U.S. military veterans and their spouses/caregivers across the nation. LCA-Vision supports the Wounded Warrior Project, and is doing its part to enhance the lives of America's heroes.

David L. Thomas, COO of LCA-Vision and West Point graduate, states, "With two major military operations in play, more and more U.S. servicemen and women are coming home with life changing injuries. What many don't realize is that even simple daily tasks such as putting on glasses or contact lenses are virtually impossible due to a wide range of injuries for thousands of our heroes. LCA-Vision is doing our part to help these men and women alleviate one less daily burden while enhancing quality of life."

"It is an honor to partner with LCA-Vision and help our wounded warriors receive the gift of perfect vision," stated Wounded Warrior Project Executive Director Steven Nardizzi. "We urge wounded warriors from across the country to contact us to learn more about qualifying for the program."
