LA BioMed's Dr. Marianne Gausche-Hill honored by Emergency Medical Services Authority

rvey of its kind, this project represents an enormous quality improvement initiative that will help hospital EDs optimize the emergency care they provide to children of all ages, from neonates to adolescents.

In addition to the EMSA Distinguished Service Award, Dr. Gausche-Hill has been recognized by several organizations, including the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) National Education Award in Emergency Medicine; the Martha Bushore-Fallis APLS award from the American Academy of Pediatrics; and the Emergency Medical Services for Children Heroes Award for Lifetime Achievement. In 2008, she was named one of the Heroes of Emergency Medicine by the ACEP, and was a finalist in 2010 for the Daily Breeze Healthcare Provider of the Year.
