Key Cleaning Solutions Products Utilized to Combat Community Acquired - MRSA (CA-MRSA) Are Succeeding In Killing Superbugs Where Normal Cleaning Practices and Products Are Not
Date:10/23/2007

New Website Launched to Provide Information and Product Acquisition

SHOREVIEW, Minn., Oct. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- In the wake of headlines of the recent tragedies caused by Community Acquired - MRSA (CA-MRSA) Superbugs, Key Cleaning Solutions, LLC, part of the Key Medical Group of Companies, announced that they have mobilized and launched a website today to aid in the dissemination of information and acquisition of cleaning products to combat and kill these superbugs. The website: http://www.keycleaningsolutions.com features the HUSKY 891 ARENA Disinfectant, the only product on the market with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved kill claims on hard surfaces, including artificial turf for USA-300 & USA-400; CA-MRSA.

The disinfectant, manufactured by the Canberra Corporation of Toledo, Ohio, was first introduced in May of 2007 as a product for the institutional marketplace. It came to market after over two years of testing and development and with the approval of the EPA. The EPA only designates virus and bacterial kill claims after rigorous testing, and this product currently holds over 100 kill claims approved by the EPA (the entire report can be found on the website: http://www.keycleaningsolutions.com/epa-rating_kill-claims.pdf). Canberra sells only through licensed distributors such as Key Cleaning Solutions, LLC. With a one-step cleaning and disinfection, 891 Arena Disinfectant provides broad spectrum effectiveness against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria including the following: CA-MRSA (USA-300 & USA-400), VRE, HIV-1, HCV, Avian Influenza A, Human Corona Virus, and SARS Associated Corona virus.

Jackie Anderson, President and CEO of Key Cleaning Solutions, LLC, explains the company's decision to launch a new website; "In the recent past, high school sports programs have been shut down across the country, college athletes have suddenly taken ill and died, professional athletes have developed strange skin irritations." She continued; "Medical professionals were stymied until it was discovered the MRSA virus had spread to the community. The products we have been providing to the healthcare industry for years needed to be made available to community organizations and the public."

Previously found only in institutional settings, Community Acquired Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus Aureas (CA-MRSA) has been identified in community settings as USA-300 and USA-400. The bacterial virus has been found in the U.S. wherever people congregate in large numbers such as Camps, Schools, Universities, Health Clubs, Playgrounds, Child Care Centers, Transportation venues, Public restrooms, Prisons, Correctional facilities and also in certain animal populations.

HUSKY 891 ARENA Disinfectant is recommended for use as an all-purpose cleaner and disinfectant as part of regular maintenance programs. It is safe on a variety of surfaces, and as opposed to bleach, which can be harmful to surface materials, skin and respiratory systems. HUSKY 891 combines the activity of quaternary with powerful cleaning agents. It has been buffered to a neutral pH for one step cleaning and disinfection which is safe to the skin and has a pleasant citrus scent. HUSKY 891 ARENA Disinfectant is safe when used as directed. HUSKY 891 is available in ready to use spray bottles, an innovative and patented just add water system (JAWS), or in dilution needed concentrate packaging; 32 oz squeeze & pour bottles, gallon jugs, 5-gallon pails and 55 gallon pails. The cost of application is as low as 14 cents when purchased in gallon size or higher.
