WHY: Obesity impacts all aspects of our country from the strength of our economy to the future of our healthcare system. Unfortunately, patients, healthcare providers, managed care, and employers all struggle without any consistent strategy for overcoming the epidemic. Members of the STOP Obesity Alliance will review recommendations specifically focused on four key areas where both the private and public sectors can take action beginning with a common, evidence-based starting point.
