CINCINNATI, Feb. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Kendle (Nasdaq: KNDL), a leading, global full-service clinical research organization, today reported financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ended Dec. 31, 2007.

Net service revenues for fourth quarter 2007 were approximately $104.3 million, an increase of 21 percent over net service revenues of approximately $86.4 million for fourth quarter 2006. Net income per diluted share for fourth quarter 2007 was $0.43 per share compared with a loss of $0.32 per share for the same period of the prior year. The fourth quarter 2007 net income per diluted share includes a charge for amortization of acquired intangibles related to the August 2006 acquisition of the Phase II-IV clinical services business of Charles River Laboratories International, Inc. (CRLCS). Excluding this item, which is detailed in the Condensed Consolidated Statements of Income, net income per diluted share for fourth quarter 2007 was $0.47 per diluted share.
