Ken Horowitz Joins North Star Health as Chief Executive Officer

ATLANTA, Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- North Star Health announced today that Ken Horowitz has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Horowitz brings to his position over 30 years as a technology industry veteran in a variety of senior leadership roles.

"Ken brings vast experience with early stage companies, and exemplary knowledge of channel strategy and execution. His consistent achievement of business goals, along with his broad knowledge of both the healthcare and technology industries, will assist North Star Health with our focus on operational excellence as we continue to deliver world class service to our current clients and develop new revenue opportunities," said Paul Davis, MD and Founder of North Star Health.

Most recently, Mr. Horowitz served as President and Chief Operating Officer at Employease, Inc., the leader in SaaS based HR/Benefits solutions, which was acquired by ADP in 2006. During his tenure, he led the company to exponential growth and built the company's client base to over 1500 customers.

Prior to joining Employease, Inc. in 1999, Mr. Horowitz spent 7 years as Vice President and General Manager of PeopleSoft, Inc. In that position, he started the company's first vertical market, healthcare, and grew the business to over $70 million. Prior to that, Mr. Horowitz held a variety of leadership positions at HBO & Company for over ten years, including Sales and General Management.
