SAN RAMON, Calif., Feb. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Keane, Inc., a $1 billion-plus global services firm that specializes in enabling transformation of its clients' business and IT functions, today announced that it has been awarded a contract with Mount Sinai Hospital of Queens, part of New York-based Mount Sinai Medical Center, to install Keane's EZ-Access Patcom and a host of new revenue cycle management and clinical applications that will streamline the hospital's operations and billing.

The installation, which is expected to be complete by the third quarter of 2008, includes Keane's new Executive Dashboard, Enterprise Scheduling and Enterprise CyberQuery (eCQ) products, which will further streamline the hospital's billing and operations, as well as Keane's Data Repository, enabling physicians to access patient information collected and processed from disparate systems from a single entry point.

"Our continued partnership with Keane will enable us to upgrade many of the critical information technology systems that serve as the operational backbone of our facility," said Caryn A. Schwab, Executive Director of Mount Sinai Hospital of Queens. "We are committed to leveraging the newest technological advancements throughout the hospital to create the most favorable experience for our patients, and the most efficient work environment for our staff."

"We are delighted to continue working with Keane on a number of upgrades to improve the way we collect, manage and access critical patient billing and clinical information throughout the facility," said Jack Abuin, Director of IT for Mount Sinai Hospital of Queens. "Our upgrade to EZ-Access Patcom will provide a fully-customizable interface that is accessible through conventional internet browser technologies, and will enable us to significantly streamline workflow processes.
