Alice Stollenwerk Petrulis, MD, FACP, to present Care Management: Making a

Difference Today and Tomorrow

HARRISBURG, Pa., May 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Alice Stollenwerk Petrulis, MD, FACP, KePRO's Chief Medical Officer, will deliver the clinical keynote address on Wednesday afternoon, May 7, 2008, at the annual MEDecision User Conference, titled Changing the World of Care Management. Dr. Petrulis will present Care Management: Making a Difference Today and Tomorrow, in which she will discuss the impact that case management and disease management have had on care management, and offer insight on how both will continue to influence the industry going forward.

Dr. Petrulis is Board certified in internal medicine and nephrology, and licensed in Ohio. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington University (in St. Louis, MO), and her medical degree from The Ohio State University. Dr. Petrulis is an adjunct professor of medicine at Case Western Reserve University. She recently co-chaired the National Quality Forum's Ambulatory Practice Steering Committee, which reviews quality measures that organizations like CMS and insurance companies use.

Dr. Petrulis has authored numerous articles and presentations, and has been published in the New England Journal of Medicine, the Journal of General Internal Medicine, and the Journal of the American Medical Association, to name a few.

The hands-on conference, which runs from May 6-9, is designed to help clients maximize the potential of existing MEDecision products, and learn about new features and capabilities that can further enhance their care management effectiveness. It affords users a chance to learn from peers, and to provide input to MEDecision's management team to help the company better meet its clients' needs. The conference will be held at the Park Hyatt Philadelphia at the Bellevue.
