Kay Jewelers returns to national campaign for fourth year to support St.

Jude in effort to save children's lives in communities everywhere.

AKRON, Ohio, Nov. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Kay Jewelers is joining St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as it kicks off its annual Thanks and Giving campaign. This is the fourth year for the national campaign and the ninth year Kay Jewelers has partnered with St. Jude in fundraising campaigns.

Thanks and Giving was created by award-winning actress and St. Jude National Outreach Director Marlo Thomas and her siblings, Terre and Tony Thomas, the children of hospital founder Danny Thomas. The campaign encourages customers to "Give thanks for the healthy kids in your life, and give to those who are not." Kay Jewelers' shoppers will see the St. Jude Thanks and Giving magnifying glass on a bright green background in their stores and can support the campaign by purchasing 'Toby & Tux,' the plush polar bear with penguin, for just $11.99 with any purchase. All profits, no less than $6 per plush, will be donated to St. Jude. Donations and purchases can also be made online at http://www.stjude.org or by calling 1-800-4STJUDE. Thanks and Giving began nationwide on November 19 and continues through the holiday season.

"Thanks and Giving is privileged to partner with some of the country's most respected brands and companies and we're thrilled that Kay Jewelers is involved again this year," said Marlo Thomas. "We know Kay Jewelers' customers welcome the opportunity to help St. Jude continue its work in the fight against childhood cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases."

Kay Jewelers first joined St. Jude as a partner in 1999, and through its participation in Thanks and Giving and other fundraising campaigns, has raised more than $10 million to support the live-saving work of St. Jude.
