AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands, and LOS ANGELES, Dec. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Bugaboo International has appointed Kari Boiler as the President of Bugaboo Americas. Boiler has been the marketing director of Bugaboo North America for the past 5 years. "Kari Boiler has the Bugaboo DNA and she is not only a strong leader but a great team player with the vision that Bugaboo Americas needs in the coming years," says Arjan Muis, CEO of Bugaboo International.

Boiler started up Bugaboo in North America in 2002 with 15 strollers in her garage on the West Coast. She helped building the iconic brand in the United States as the marketing director. As a valuable member of the management team she developed great leadership qualities and broadened her business experience.

She will focus on strengthening Bugaboo's relationship with retailers in the US, expand the business in Canada and Mexico, and further build the brand in the region.

10 years in 2009
