Kaplan Continuing Education Expands Health Care Certificate Programs
Date:2/23/2010

Entry-level and advanced programs offer hospital systems and health care providers numerous solutions for training coders, admins, techs, and nurses through online continuing education.

Fort Lauderdale, FL (PRWEB) February 23, 2010 -- Kaplan Continuing Education (KCE), a leader in health care certificate programs, has developed online continuing education programs for nurses, human resources administrators, and billing and coding professionals that enable employers in the health care industry to offer continuing education as an employee benefit. KCE’s options for nurses include convenient continuing education certificate programs such as legal nurse consulting, geriatric care management, and many other programs in specific nursing fields. Additional health care certificate programs include medical billing and coding, which teaches those individuals involved with accounting and daily administrative tasks proper techniques.

In a recent KCE survey of students, 72 percent of respondents stated that their employer does not reimburse employees for professional education. To help businesses address this need, KCE partners with health care companies and organizations to offer health care certificate programs that are both cost effective for employers and convenient for employees. KCE works with hospitals and medical facilities to offer certificate programs that provide continuing education for nurses online, as well as training for other health care professionals.

“KCE continues to offer programs focused on online continuing education for nursing as well as the medical billing
