Kaiser Permanente Named 2009 Company of the Year by LATINA Style Magazine

Kaiser Permanente's board of directors also is diverse; its membership is 21 percent Black, 14.5 percent Latino, 14.5 percent Asian American and 36 percent women, making it one of the most ethnically and gender-diverse boards in the country.

Earlier this year, Kaiser Permanente was ranked No. 1 in the fourth annual 50 Out Front for Diversity Leadership: Best Places for Diverse Managers to Work by DiversityMBA Magazine. Kaiser Permanente also was named the 2009 Corporation of the Year by the Hispanic College Fund and will be honored at the publication's 16th annual gala, to be held on Oct 30 at the J.W. Marriott in Washington, D.C. Additionally, Kaiser Permanente was ranked No. 7 on the 2009 DiversityInc Top 50 Companies for Diversity(R) list and was the only health care organization ranked in the top 20 of this list.
