Kagome's Yellow Mango Orchard Blended Juice Named One of America's Healthiest Buys
Date:6/5/2008

Awarded Top Juice Beverage by Health Magazine

SEATTLE, June 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Kagome, one of Japan's largest food and juice producers, and its Yellow Mango Orchard natural 100 percent juice blend have been named one of America's Healthiest Buys in 2008 by Health Magazine.

With the help of top health experts, Health Magazine put the latest "good-for-you" products in beauty, food and fitness to the ultimate test and unveiled a total of 75 true standout products to comprise the list of America's Healthiest Buys in its new June issue as June is National Fruits and Vegetables Month.

Kagome's Yellow Mango Orchard, the company's first product marketed in the U.S., was named the top juice in the Beverages category.

Health Magazine judges said, "Like most of us, you're probably not eating enough fruits and veggies. No problem, just drink them! This refreshing blend of four fruits and eight veggies -- including mango, banana, carrot, and even asparagus -- has no added sugar and tons of sight-saving antioxidants. Eight ounces nets you a full serving each of fruits and vegetables for only 120 calories."

"We are honored that our Yellow Mango Orchard juice has been recognized by an esteemed panel of health experts," said Geoff Hasegawa, chief operating officer, Kagome Beverages Division. "For more than 100 years, Kagome has developed nutritious foods that emphasize the benefits of including vibrant, natural colors into the diet. We used this same approach to create our line of natural, blended juices.

Kagome natural juice blends feature as many as 13 fruits and vegetables in one drink, including tomatoes, carrots, bell peppers, purple carrots and blueberries.

Each eight ounce glass of Kagome juice is an easy and tasty way to add one full serving of vegetables and one full serving of fruits to your diet.

Kagome juices contain more phytonutrients and antioxidants than other juices and have no added sugar, art
