KXBEVENTS, a San Diego-based comedy production company, is announcing an upcoming stand-up comedy show to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
SAN DIEGO, May 6 /PRNewswire/ -- KXBEVENTS is presenting the inaugural "Laugh San Diego (TM) 2008" comedy show benefiting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to fund blood cancer research, education and patient services. The event will take place on Saturday, June 14, from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at 4th & B Concerts in downtown San Diego (345 B Street, San Diego, CA 92101).
You've seen them on TV and at your favorite comedy club. Now Hollywood and San Diego comedians are getting together to make people laugh for a good cause, turning laughter into hope. The event features Vargus Mason (Comedy Central, HBO Comedy), America's Funniest Mom Vicki Barbolak (E! Television, Nick at Nite), Kyle Smith (Jimmy Kimmel Live!), and other San Diego and Los Angeles favorites.
Proceeds from the show will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, which is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. The society's mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life for patients and their families.
