The unique interactive symposium will showcase strategies, case studies, tips and breakthroughs--valuable insight for navigators making their way through today’s every changing healthcare marketplace from some of the most important architects of today’s digital healthcare industry.

Among some of the presenters—Judy Faulkner, Founder and CEO, Epic, Frank D. Byrne, MD, President, St. Mary’s Hospital, Jeffrey Grossman, MD, President and CEO, UW Medical Foundation. A snapshot of some keynotes include: “Healthcare IT Top 10 for 2013: A Year of Accelerating Transition,” “Healthcare in Flux: Strategies for Survival,” and “The Making of a Clinician—Leveraging IT.”

Barry P. Chaiken, MD, Chair of the Digital Healthcare Conference, and Chief Medical Information Officer for Infor Software said “Long anticipated change is occurring in healthcare and organizations need to understand how information technology can help them respond successfully to this coming challenge.”

“Start Me Up”—This new event is a unique collaborative opportunity for emerging health information technology start-ups.

On June 10th prior to the DHC, “Start Me Up” an emerging Health IT Meetup Day will bring together entrepreneurs, investors and healthcare CIOs in one setting. The unique opportunity on June 10th gets the “players” of emerging healthcare IT in the same room to discuss potential opportunities face-to-face. (http://www.startuphit.com)

Even with a great pilot program underway, it can be a daunting process to get a technology up and running. This is rare opportunity for both sides—entrepreneurs and investors to explore opportunities together.

“Established and emerging information technology vendors are faced with many technical and business challenges to partner and integrate with major electronic medical record developers," said Mike Klein, conference CEO and editorial director. “Start Me Up" will feature informative and interactive discussions about how to develop and sell products for use by healthcare providers."
